I produced a short documentary in a fly-on-the-wall style, closely shadowing a cohort of students of the Royal College of Art as they prepared and presented their exhibition in the Liverpool Independents Biennial, 2018.
Over a two-day period, I captured the rhythm and intensity of their working process, which in the final edit was pieced together as an observational view of the cohorts collaboration and creative preparation.
The accompanying soundscape, composed from recordings of the students’ post‑exhibition debrief, creates an immersive reflection on collaboration and critique within the creative process, adding an immersive auditory dimension to the visual narrative.
